Sedevacantist Novus Ordo Watch Claimed That The Synod Would Cause A Schism.....It Didn't

Yea...didn't happen...didn't materialize....the Sedes got it all wrong.....

How Long Until Schism? The Vatican II Sect on the Brink of Chaos

We have long been saying that there may eventually come a schism, and it seems that this time is approaching very quickly now indeed......

This is huge, ladies and gentlemen. Until now, a possible schism was only a conjecture on our part, based on the problems we were seeing Francis create. But now we have an accredited Novus Ordo theologian coming out and threatening it — and he already has a following, as you can see from the comments on his blog and on his Facebook page. Will other high-profile individuals join him?.......

A few clarifying words about schism are still in order. When we say that there may occur a schism in the Novus Ordo Sect, or that Bowring is ready to go into schism, we simply mean a rift between Francis and his followers on the one hand, and Novus Ordos who reject Francis on the other (and possibly accept Benedict instead). It is a descriptive use of the term, much like “schism” is used in “The Great Western Schism” of the 14th/15th century. We are not here concerned with anyone’s culpability or lack thereof, nor with the distinction between the canonical crime of schism and the personal sin of schism. At the same time, we must point out that Bowring’s call to reject Francis by not “following the Pope”, i.e., even while believing him to be the Pope is definitely and clearly a condoning of the mortal sin of schism......

  1. Sedevacantism is the only theologically accurate and consistent explanation for what is going on in the Church. It answers all the questions, has no major problems, and doesn't require denying any Catholic teachings such as the Universal Ordinary Magisterium or the infallibility of universal laws or disciplines of the Church.

    1. Answer this question: where exactly in your basement do you go for your Sunday obligation? Sedevacantists not only not have a Pope, they have no priests, no Mass, no Church. They could always be like Dimond bros-level hypocrites and get their sacraments from Eastern Rite Catholic priests in union with Rome...

    2. ok tell me who was the first Sedevacantist? Francis Schuckardt please by all means dig up his body to see if its incorrupt to verify the truth of sedevacantism

    3. To address each of your posts, my friends ...

Freshmaker: Where I or anyone else goes for Sunday Mass has no bearing either way on whether Francis is the pope. Furthermore, there are plenty of sedevacantist priests who offer Mass. I'm not sure what you mean by saying they have no Church, since they are members of the Catholic Church. The Dimond "brothers" are heretics who reject the dogma of BOD and BOB.

DXV: Francis Schuckhardt was not the first sedevacantist, and even if he were that would not prove sedevacantism is false. And digging up his body would prove nothing, even if (which I'm sure it's not) his body were incorrupt. A miracle like that doesn't prove that someone's beliefs are true.

    4. Sedevacantism is simply an application of the unanimous teaching of the Doctors and Fathers of the Church, that a public heretic can't even be a member of the Church at all, much less hold any office in it. This teaching is even incorporated in Canon Law, which states that anyone who holds office in the Church loses that office automatically if he publicly defects from the Catholic Faith.

If either of you want to try to prove that Francis is not a public heretic or hasn't publicly defected from the Catholic Faith, this should be interesting.

  2. I'm a sede and I predicted NO schism.
I have tons of Novus Ordo friends and while they are faithful Mass attenders, most of them didn't know there was a synod going on let alone what a synod is. Even if the final report had been more scandalous than it was, these folks are boiled frogs who will just accept the status quo---no matter what..
Many of them still believe Francis is orthodox and conservative---seriously they do.

    2. No-haha. But I pass by the cemetery where he is buried on my way home from work. I only recently became a sede. I actually still work out of financial necessity in a Novus Ordo parish. I converted to Novus Ordo from S. Baptist in 2003. But I was recently conditionally baptized and confessed in a sede chapel by a priest ordained in the old rite by a bishop consecrated in the old rite who was consecrated by a bishop who rightly rejected Vat 2. I think the new ordination, and consecration rites from Vat 2 are possibly invalid.

    3. Francis Schuckhardt was one bad egg out of many good and holy men who recognized the sedevacantist position after Vatican 2. Consider the eminent theologian Bp. Guerard des Lauriers in France, for example. There are dozens of good sedevacantist priests operating throughout the United States, rejecting the new Vatican 2 religion and bringing the sacraments to people all over the place. But in any case, what matters primarily is not their personal morals (which only God can judge anyway) but how their theology is compatible with the teachings of the Doctors and Fathers and the Magisterial statements of the Church.

In any case, just because an evil man like Schuckhardt held a position doesn't make it wrong. Martin Luther believed in God, but that doesn't mean we should be atheists.

    4. Amen to you anonymous. The blogger here clearly is ignoring what Popes Paul IV and Innocent III said on the matter, and bringing up the issue of schuckhardt or the Dimond boys is a distraction from fact of the obvious apostasy of the second Vatican council and its endorsing of previously anathemaed theological positions. The blogger quotes our Lady at LaSallette but apparently doesn't recognize her statement of Rome losing the Faith and becoming the seat of the Antichrist. Has the blogger read Henry Cardinal Edward Manning 's Present Crisis Of The Holy See, his response to Cardinal Newman 's thought that Antichrist has to reign from Jerusalem (as most heretic protestants assert ). Manning eloquently lays out from the Fathers of the Church that Antichrist has to reign in the New Israel, The Church. Our Lady obviously went with Manning on the subject. Newman 's first sermon does correctly compare the time of antichrist to the macchabees, and one only has to read the first chapter of 1Machabees to see the obvious parallel to Antiochus Epiphanes putting the statue of Zeus Olympios into the Jewish temple and "Saint "John Paul I I putting the statue of Buddha on the altar of God at Assisi. As Catholics, we are obligated to keep the Faith over and above the mass; and if the blogger refuses to believe that Christ would allow this to happen, I give him, THINK YE, WHEN THE SON OF MAN RETURNS HE WILL FIND FAITH ON EARTH?

  3. Interesting---I didn't know about the Zeus thing. Great comparison! Must read Maccabees.
